lunch with my agent

Had lunch with my agent yesterday. It's such a thrill just to say that.
We went to a nice little bistro and talked about my wip--The Poets' Preservation Society. She loved it! It's a very rough first draft, and needs lots of work, but she loved it. Which is great, because if your agent doesn't love you, who will?

Here's a site I just love--check it out if you haven't already.

Hello. I just found your blog when I was out looking for info on Samantha Haywood. She agented a book I read recently and absolutely loved, so I'm thinking of querying her.

Aaaaanyways....when I read that you wanted to be a writer already at age 9...and write pony books...well I think we might share a small piece of brain material.

I always wanted to write but kept talking myself out of it. Until about two years ago. I've been writing like a crazy person since then, and I've got one ready to go.

Drop by my blog sometimes OK? I have lots of links to other writers. And horse pictures. And Johnny Depp pictures, if you're interested.
